Los Osos Oaks State Natural Reserve is such a fun little spot to have your engagement session! It’s located in the Los Osos Valley and full of different sceneries! Los Osos contains ancient sand dunes and is covered with old live oak trees! Which, both of these sceneries make for dreamy engagement photos! What is so cool about this location, is that the coastal live oak trees here are so different than any surrounding area! It’s definitely one of my favorite spots to take my couples if you want more of a nature, wilderness feel to some of your photos!
Our second location for Julia and Kyle’s engagement session was Montana De Oro! This is such a dreamy spot and close by to the other spot we chose! Montana De Oro is the perfect place if you’re looking for cliffs and a more coastal vibe for your photos! It has secluded, gorgeous beaches along with hills and canyons if you venture far enough! There are stunning trails around this park and you can’t go wrong with which one you choose! In the springtime, they even have gorgeous wildflowers that bloom all around.
Julia and Kyle chose to have their session at two locations and I wanted to highlight why I LOVE doing this. We ventured to Montana De Oro along with Los Osos Oaks State Natural Reserve. As you can tell, each location is so different from each other! If you’re going to do two locations, that is my biggest advice. Try to choose two spots that give off different scenery options! I love offering multiple locations for engagement sessions because we get to spend time with each other, but also it gives you a wide variety in your gallery!
