Maddie and Elias have had so many amazing family milestones, and I’ve been lucky enough to capture each precious moment! I had a blast capturing this family milestone for them. This year, their baby girl Olivia was walking and giving so many smiles! Our recent family session for them was at Avila Beach in California. It was a gorgeous view for their family photos. Simple + Meaningful Family Milestone Photoshoots

Against the gorgeous backdrop of Avila Beach, we had an absolute blast capturing these simple yet meaningful family photos. The gorgeous sky with simple white tees and blue jeans. It makes for the perfect pictures to hang anywhere in your home. It brings in all the neutral tones!

During family sessions, I love just having a good time and not forcing anything. If there are littles, we let them guide the session. This way they feel like they are just being played with rather than forced to take pictures. In the beginning of any family session I will do all the different variations of shots – family group photos, kids with mom, kids with dad and individuals. I always start with the kids photos, that way if the kids get tired out by the end of our session, we already got plenty of photos with them! I leave the last 15 min to photograph just the parents together and have a little alone time. These sessions typically fly by, but we have so many variations of photos that leaves clients so excited for their gallery.

Alyssa has what seems like super powers when it comes to getting you to feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, which can only be explained by her sheer passion for what she does. She makes the whole experience seem effortless- a testament to her level of professionalism and master of her craft. After our light hearted and uplifting photo session, we were so excited to see the final product. We knew it would be amazing but, wow does Alyssa overdeliver!

We were absolutely blown away by the fruit of her loving labor. There is really no way to put to words the way we felt when we saw the gallery because they weren’t just pictures- Alyssa actually captured the essence of our relationship in art form. It nearly brought us to tears to go through these photos, each one conveying a different emotion and facet of our shared love. Alyssa, we can’t thank you enough for your generosity of spirit. These photos are not only breath-taking, but they actually empower our relationship and will for years to come.
