Straight out the gate, Amanda demonstrated a remarkable openness to my suggestions. She not only followed my recommended photo timeline but also extended her coverage when I suggested it. I even mentioned how fun a car photoshoot was when you add it to your wedding gallery, and she went ahead and rented one! It was heartening to witness the bride’s commitment to making her vision a reality. She sought inspiration from specific photos I shared and went the extra mile to acquire the necessary items.

I also mentioned how FUN a pre-wedding photoshoot was, and she went ahead and booked that too (stay tuned for that blog post!). Throughout the day, the seamless flow of events was a testament not only to the couple’s trust of all involved, but also to the incredible teamwork by the wedding coordinator. The precise planning and coordination ensured that a day filled with diverse events, from lamas at cocktail hour to a quarter-mile-long ceremony aisle, proceeded flawlessly.

While Amanda and Lee’s trust in their vendors played a pivotal role in the day’s success, it’s essential to highlight the outstanding contributions of the DJ, coordinator, videographer, and florist. The dried florals added a gorgeous touch of elegance and beauty. The videographers worked flawlessly alongside my team, capturing every moment with precision! The DJ played an impressive mix of music, keeping the energy high and the day on track. Last but not least, the amazing wedding coordinator! She had so much on her plate, handled a myriad of events and made sure that everything unfolded seamlessly. This team was an amazing addition to A + L’s wedding in Elizabethtown!

“Alyssa is hands down the best photographer EVER. I’m a very particular person so I scoured Instagram for weeks looking for the perfect photographer for my engagement pics and wedding. I wanted a professional who also had an upbeat fun attitude to make photos feel seamless and light hearted. I was also looking for someone with a very specific editing style blending moody and bright, while still ensuring the photos are clean, crisp and timeless. That is Alyssa.

I signed a contract with her the minute we got off our first zoom call. She made every shoot so fun. We did not feel awkward at all. Nothing felt forced. Lee (my now husband) initially had anxiety about taking a bunch of photos, but with every shoot and event, she made us more comfortable. My mom, sisters and ALL of my bridesmaids made comments after the wedding about how wonderful she was. She has a unique ability to capture the most intimate and candid moments, with a lot of movement which I love. She is accommodating and flexible too.

For our engagement photos, we changed the date a few times due to rain and despite her busy schedule, she made it work. For our wedding weekend, she flew across the US to PA. She managed to squeeze in a last minute mini session on the night of our rehearsal dinner followed by 10 hours of wedding day coverage the following day. Then, she shared a bunch of sneak peaks today, only 6 days after the wedding. For those of you considering booking her, do it. It was the best investment I made for my wedding.
