Lovers Point is such a dreamy location for a summer engagement session in California. On this gorgeous summer day, we ventured to Point Lobos National Park and ended our session exploring the sands of Lovers Point on the coast! It was an absolute dream to photograph these two! Lovers Point Engagement Photos With Kennedy + Shawn

Here’s the fun story of how this photoshoot actually came to be:

As I was driving up to Monterey for a shoot I thought I should see if someone wanted a free engagement session. I had one person apply while on my drive, and I reached out and it happened to be Kennedy. We hit it off and I gave her my limited availability of the weekend for the session. Somehow, between, being a nurse, raising adorable twin babies, police academy and work they managed to wiggle room in for this session! Well, turns out we became instant friends. They were a dream to work with and we will now be seeing each other again for their wedding next year! It was truly meant to be that day at Lovers Point.

Kennedy and Shawn were such a blast to photograph at Lovers Point. They have so much chemistry and are just complete naturals in front of the camera. Also, they couldn’t help but laugh at some of the random things I asked them to do! Spoiler alert, the laughs were the goal! The goal I have when I photograph you and your love, is to make it natural and something that’s actually FUN!
