The Benefits of an Intimate Santa Barbara Courthouse Wedding

I love shooting big weddings, but there is something so special and intimate about an elopement. I was ecstatic when Brandi and Allen asked me to be apart of their Santa Barbara elopement. If you are debating between a big traditional wedding vs an intimate elopement, here are some reasons why i LOVE elopements!

Number one is the gorgeous pictures that we are able to take. When you have your elopement at a courthouse or city hall like Brandi and Allen, they are usually filled with stunning architecture that make the best backdrops for your photos! Another reason is it is so budget friendly. The average cost of a traditional wedding in the US is around $30,000 (OMG!), whereas for a courthouse elopement, it starts around $50-$75 depending on your state and what other vendors and details you want to include. Finally, and maybe my favorite reason, is LESS STRESS! You actually get to enjoy your wedding day and not worry about planning all of the different vendors and making sure everything is going according to plan.
