These Santa Barbara engagement photos were a dream to photograph with Viviana and Jacobo! We went to the beautiful Santa Barbara Mission for one location. It is a super unique spot around Santa Barbara and the architecture is so dreamy for photos! Our next spot we ventured to was the Stow House! “My fiancé and I have been together for 6 years, we met in high school, but never crossed a word. Until after high school he worked next door to my school and we would both see each other after work/class. We both had each other on social media, liked each others pictures but never talked.

He mentioned to me that he would always see me around school and was too shy to come up to me and talk. I sent him a message through instagram and said ” Hi there I remember you, we graduated high school together.” He responded ” Yes, I remember you, we sat across from each other on our graduation ceremony. I pretended I didn’t remember, but I sure did. We secretly liked each other but never said anything to each other. After that we had an instant connection and we would talk for hours on the phone, went on dates, to the movies, family gatherings.. Our families instantly said we were made for each other no doubt.”

“Six years later we are engaged. My proposal was amazing! He proposed to me at Six Flags in front of the waterfall. I wasn’t expecting it at all, my future sister in law told us to pose for a picture when he turned me around with a sign with hearts spelling…”Will you marry me?” I was in total shock he got to one knee and popped the question. People around us were clapping and congratulating us! It was the most magical day for us. I am beyond blessed and grateful for gods paths and experiences. We both love to travel and capture every moment together. Now on to new beginnings as soon to be Mrs. Montanez!”
