Spring Engagement Session at Shell Beach | Roxanna & Josh
This springtime engagement session at Shell Beach with Roxanna and Josh was so much fun. These two traveled all the way from Bakersfield to do their engagement photos with me, which meant so much! We did a 2 hour engagement session together that included two outfit changes. The sun was bright and the wind was strong, but no matter the obstacles that the day gave us we still continued to create beautiful imagery and have a fun time together.
A Sunny Engagement Session in Shell Beach, California
Shell Beach is a great location if you’re wanting a gorgeous cliff lined photo session! It is located on the central coastline of California in a neighborhood in Pismo Beach! It’s more hidden and reserved and not many visitors know about this spot, so it’s perfect for an intimate and playful engagement session! Roxanna and Josh loved it here and they even got in the water for some of their photos. Talk about a literal dream shoot for me!
Roxanna + Josh’s Love Story
“Long story SHORT…….. I moved to Bakersfield from a small town Delano in 2015 and my kids attended Bakersfield schools. My daughter had Mr. Caraveo as her 7th grade teacher. She mentioned how the world is small because her teacher told her he knows her uncles from Delano. Anyhow, I see Josh for the 1st time at my nephew’s 2nd or 3rd birthday party when my daughter freaked out asking me why her PE teacher was there. Come to find out, we have tons of mutual friends just never crossed paths…..
…..Josh found me on social media and he would always compliment Alexis and was very supportive with her achievements throughout the remainder of her school years. In 2018, he reached out and asked if I wanted to go hang out and have wings, after following me on social media he definitely knew the way to my heart and I wouldn’t pass down wings! We met up at Buffalo Wild Wings for wings and some drinks, ended up going to a movie and since we never stopped talking or hanging out. He became a really good friend of mine….
….Labor Day weekend he told me he loved me for the 1st time. Mind you, when we started to talk and hang out neither one of us were looking for a relationship and we both were very transparent about it. I really was looking for someone to be myself with and hang out with. Fast forward, we have been an exclusive couple since Sept 2019, NYE this year he planned the sweetest engagement party EVER!”
